Korean BBQ Dinner Spread

It's been one and a half month since I left home and I'm now back again in Lenggong,Me and my family went to penang airport to fetch my bro who is coming back all the way from US.We stayed in penang for two days and we didnt miss out Penang and Ipoh's hawker food so i was eating too much like a pig, from street food especially Penang's famous Char Kuey Tiaw, Laksa and seafood and the local hometown favorites in Ipoh. After reaching home my brother and my mum thought of making Korean BBQ for dinner since we got home late and we thought of just pulling out all the ingredients from the refrigerator and grill everything on the pan. The beef was pre-marinated and everything else is pretty much fresh ingredients such as seafood and vegetables.

Sushi Mushi ~~

'Mushi' means DRAGON (It's the Dragon year!) in old asian language or cute/awesome/cool/delicious according to Urban Dictionary. Ok, chop chop, enough of nonsense, let's get to the point...there were all prepared by my brother with the help of my mum.It took my brother around one and a half hour to prepare this "Chinese New Year Eve Dinner".It was really an awesome dinner with my family as we chit chat while having those tasty sushi and

Moreover, I didn't have my camera with me most of the time (I know it's irresponsible for me to say this). But anyway, me and my dearest mom managed to put up a good sushi dinner for the family at home for celebrating the New Year without turning the kitchen upside down.

Food you can never resist !!

Homemade Chinese Style Mee Rebus
Mee Rebus is one of the many noodles dishes popular in Malaysia. It is one of my favorite hawker food.It is yellow noodles served with a thick spicy potato-based gravy and garnished with a hard-boiled egg, spring onions, bean sprouts, fried shallots, fried shrimp biscuit, tau kwa (dried/ fried beancurd) and lime juice. It requires a lot of efforts to prepare as you have to peel, smash and boil the potatoes. The hardest part is to fry the shrimp biscuit because you have to fry them one by one slowly on a pan with a little bit of oil to make sure they do not change their shape when you deep fry them in a wok.Fried shrimp biscuit is a must for Chinese Style Mee Rebus as it differentiate it with Indian Mee Rebus and Malay Mee Rebus.Since it is my favorite food,my mum will cook it whenever i'm back at home during Semester Break.
